Yerzhan Sadenov to continue to serve as Kazakh Internal Affairs Minister

Yerzhan Sadenov will continue to serve as the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Akorda press service.

The Head of State inked the corresponding decree to reappoint Sadenov as the Minister of Internal Affairs.

Yerzhan Sadenov was born in 1968 in East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University and the Karaganda Higher School of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He started his career in the law-enforcement agencies in 1994 in East Kazakhstan region and rose through the ranks to become the head of the internal affairs department of Ust-Kamenogorsk in 2009.

Between 2022 and 2023 he served as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was designated as the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 2, 2023 by presidential decree.
