According to Tatyana Sinenko, PR manager of the young Kazakhstani singer, Adelina has competed in nine song contests across the US, most of which she won, since she had been enrolled in the school in the state of Minnesota in 2022.

The Radda Rise International Piano and Vocal Competition was no exception, in which Adelina took first place with Latif Khamidi’s 'Bulbul' composition by a unanimous decision of the jury, as the finalists were announced last weekend, said Sinenko.

Baritone Giuseppe Spoletini, a member of the jury, vocal coach at the Saint Thomas Choir School, member of the vocal department at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege, said Adelina is a virtuous performer.

I believe everyone will agree that she picked quite a difficult composition, leaving a lasting mark on everyone. Though I have no idea what the song is about, she made me feel each note. Bulbul should be sung again and again!, he said.

According to Adelina, she submitted three songs to the contest.

I’m glad that the Kazakh academic classis gained such attention and warm responses… Such a win gives an incentive to work even harder, she says.

Adelina, who has been doing academic vocal training for more than seven years, won the Choice of the Year Prize for her creative accomplishments as the youngest nominee in 2020.

In December 2019, the Kazakhstani singer performed at the Carnegie Hall as the American Protege winner.
