Young pianist from Kazakhstan makes headlines in France

More than 200 musicians from every corner of the world, including Varvara, came to the French city of Annecy in late August. The Annecy Classic Festival was established 40 years ago by the famous French pianist Elian Rishpen. And the rising star Varvara Kutuzova opened this year's festival and then was followed by the winners of the most prestigious music festivals from South Korea, Serbia, France and Russia.
Residents and guests of Annecy enjoy the music fest for 10 days within the framework of the event. The performances are usually held at uncommon places, such as museums, monuments or even castles, as in the case of Annecy. Such legends and world stars as Yuri Bashmet and Vladimir Spivakov conduct master classes for blooming pianists and young talents.
