Kazakhstani, 11yo, presents educational program in Saudi Arabia promoting creative thinking to address environmental challenges
11-year-old Platon Nechayev from the Kazakh city of Karaganda took part in the 6th International Conference on Learning Cities held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
The Conference, which brought together experts and representatives from different parts of the world, focused on key issues in sustainable development, climate change and building learning communities.
Karaganda native Platon Nechayev joined the event to present his educational program PLATON 5D thinking, which helps to develop creative thinking while addressing environmental and social challenges as well as forms a new generation of leaders.
11-year-old Platon also presented his new fairytale ‘The Magic Time Compass’ as well as suggested experience exchanges between children of Jubail and Karaganda through planting trees symbolizing friendship in both cities.
Widely-known as one of the young creators in Kazakhstan, Platon dedicates his works to different stories and heroes, his city of Karaganda and its stories, accompanied with illustrations the young author creates with the use of AI.
