Young woman, man gunned down near grocery store in Ust-Kamenogorsk

UST-KAMENOGORSK. July 4. KAZINFORM Ust-Kamenogorsk police were called to the scene of a fatal shooting near Rakhat grocery store this morning.

A young woman bumped into two men at the entrance into the local grocery store. One of them jerked out a shotgun out of his bag and shot the woman dead at point-blank range.

The armed assailant also shot a young man who came to the defense of the first victim. The girl died at the scene, whereas little is known about the fate of her defender.

Police said the information on the homicide would be released later.
