Senate Speaker and head of the secretariat of the Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions Maulen Ashimbayev read out the congratulatory letter on behalf of the Head of State to the delegates of the Forum of Young Religious Leaders, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The President congratulated those present on the opening of the 1st forum. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reminded that two years ago he suggested the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions adopt new approaches to invigorate its activities. One of the initiatives is the Forum of Young Religious Leaders. The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions is a unique dialogue platform to establish harmony of civilizations and celebrate peace and accord.

The President noted involvement of the youth in a dialogue between religions is the call of the times.

In his congratulatory letter, the President said the younger generation is the herald of development and innovation. Religious cooperation of youth directly impacts the development of the spiritual future of humanity. Geopolitical contradictions led to multiple challenges. It is crucial to shape a new system of international security. Religious leaders play a special role in it. Active participation of the youth will undoubtedly give a new impetus.

In conclusion, the Head of State urged the youth to contribute to the development of peace and wished all success in the forum.
