Youth should better use its energy in sports – Head of Kazakhstan
The resident of Taraz city addressed a complaint that teenagers rob younger secondary school students at schools of the city.
The Head of the State called the Mayor of Zhambyl region and Minister of Internal Affairs which assured him that all measures are taken to reduce youth and teenaged criminality.
"You have good reports but we need concrete facts. The certain questions are asked and they are topical for many large cities. Therefore I urge you - both you, the Mayor of the Region and Minister for Tourism and Sport - the youth should better use its energy in sports. There are no conditions for youth leisure in cities. One the other hand, you must work with parents. If their children are rowdies - tomorrow their life will be broken. They will be imprisoned. I suppose no one of the parents wants such a fate for their children. Therefore, parents, school, law-enforcement agencies and akimat must study this problem", the President said emphasizing that this problem concerns other cities of the country.
