ASTANA. May 30. KAZINFORM "Our future - the youth suffers from the current situation in the world," General Secretary of the Lutheran World Federation Martin Junge said during the IV Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana.

"I'm especially grateful for the attention the Congress pays to two panel sessions devoted to the issues of women and youth. Recent events of our world demonstrate talents, hopes and needs of women and young people must be included in any process oriented to the establishment of stable and harmonious world," Martin Junge said.

He stressed that he highly appreciates Kazakh President's attention to the issues of youth.

According to M. Junge, about 50% of unemployed in the world is the young people. This level is unacceptable. It raises fundamental issues not only regarding the stability but also the viability of development paradigms, which are presently used by the economic theory and practice.
