Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan reaches China Open qualification final in Beijing

Kazakhstan's Zarina Diyas reached the final of the qualifying round of the upcoming WTA 1000 tennis tournament in Beijing, China, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan defeated Spain's Rebeka Masarova in the semifinals in two sets with a score of 6:4, 6:0.

Zarina will clash with British Heather Watson (ranked 57th) in the final qualifying bout.

It bears to remind that Zarina Diyas returned to the WTA Tour this year after a two-year rehabilitation period following a severe injury.

Earlier it was reported that world No.4 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan had withdrawn from the China Open.
