Zhambyl region Akim meets with school Olympiad winners

ZHAMBYL REGION. May 19. KAZINFORM. /Galina Skripnik/ Akim of Zhambyl region Boribay Zheksembin met with students who are the winners of the international and republican Olympiads and competitions among schools; the regional akim?s press service said.

B. Zheksembin said that President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev gave higher priority to the education of the young generation that would have to solve important tasks on strengthening economic and political status of the country in the nearest future. According to D. Abdraimov, Chief of the Regional Education Department, for the last three years students of the Zhambyl Kazakh-Turkish lyceums have had the highest results and won 25 medals in the republican and international scientific competitions.
