Zhamilya Bakbergenova of Kazakhstan climbs to 2nd spot in updated UWW ranking

Kazakhstan’s Zhamilya Bakbergenova climbed to the second spot in the updated United World Wrestling (UWW) ranking in the 72kg category, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.

With 45,000 points, Kazakhstan’s Zhamilya Bakbergenova is now placed second in the United World Wrestling (UWW) ranking for the 72kg category.

Ami Ishii of Japan is number one at 72kg. Coming in third is Alexandra Nicoleta Anghel of Romania.

To note, Kazakhstan’s Zhamilya Bakbergenova settled for silver at the Seniors World Wrestling Championships - Non-Olympic Weight Categories in Albania, after being defeated by Japanese Ami Ishii in the women's 72kg final.
