ZHANAIDAR SADUAKASSOV
ZHANAIDAR SADUAKASSOV (1898-1938) – a state and public figure.
He was born in Karaganda oblast. Zhanaidar obtained education from the village mullah, studied at the Akmola Russian School and the Omsk gymnasium. He was one of the heads of organizations of the Kazakh youth ?Birlik? (?Unity?) (1916-1918), ?Zhas Kazakh? (?Young Kazakh?) (1918), ?Kazakh zhastarynyn demokratiyalyk kenesi? (?Democratic Council of the Kazakh youth?) (1918-1919). Zhanaidar communicated with political organizations through writer F.Berezovsky. He prepared necessary documents for S.Seifullin and others to escape from the Omsk prison.
In July, 1919 he returned to Akmola.
On September 17, 1937 he was arrested. On February 25, 1938 Zhanaidar was shot and in 1957 he was rehabilitated.
