Zhanat Elimanov appointed Chairman of Financial Monitoring Agency

By presidential order, Zhanat Elimanov has been appointed to the post of the Chairman of the Agency for Financial Monitoring, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.

Zhanat Elimanov replaced Dmitry Malakhov in the post of the Chairman of the Agency for Financial Monitoring.

Born in 1978 in Karaganda, Elimanov graduated from the Buketov Karaganda State University.

Zhanat Elimanov previously held the position of the Chairman of the Agency for Financial Monitoring in from 2021 to 2024.

Prior to his appointment, he was the First Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, National Security Major-General.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan named the new First Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee.
