Zhansaya Abdumalik in Top 100 FIDE rankings
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani chess player Zhansaya Abdumalik climbed to 89th place in the FIDE rating list, according to Vesti.kz.

The 14-year-old chess player has become the number one in Kazakhstan surpassing 15 points Dinara Saduakasova. At the end of 2014 the young athlete plans to enter the top 20. Currently, female FIDE rating is headed by the Hungarian chess player Judit Polgar.
At the moment Zhansaya Abdumalik is participating in the prestigious chess tournament Tradewise Gibraltar chess festival, which takes place in Gibraltar. After eight rounds Abdumalik gained 4.5 points. The tournament will end on February 6.
It bears to remind that in January 2014 Zhansaya Abdumalik Chess Academy was opened in Almaty. The opening ceremony was attended by the former world chess champion Anatoly Karpov.
