Kazakhstani tennis player Zhibek Kulambayeva (ranked 382nd) is off to a good start at the W50 San Miguel de Tucuman to be held from September 16 to 22 in Argentina, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

The Kazakh athlete played against Eleni Christofi of Greece in the Women’s Singles event. Zhibek Kulambayeva defeated her opponent in two sets with a total score of 6:3, 6:2. The match lasted for 1 hour and 33 minutes.

It should be noted that Zhibek Kulambayeva, 24, lost in the Women’s Singles and Doubles finals at the ITF Dominican Republic 10A in Punta Cana on September 16.
