8 Kazakhstani biathletes to participate at IBU Biathlon World Cup in Germany
Today, January 9, the next stage of the 2024 IBU Biathlon World Cup kicked off in Oberhof, Germany, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Eight biathletes from Kazakhstan are to participate in the World Cup, including Alexandr Mukhin, Asset Dyussenov, Vladislav Kireyev, Vadim Kurales, Olga Poltoranina, Arina Kryukova, Polina Yegorova, and Galina Vishnevskaya-Sheporenko.
The competition will start with the Women's Sprint 7.5 km at 06.20 pm Astana time.
The 2024 IBU Biathlon World Cup is set to run through January 12.
As earlier reported, Kazakhstan's Anastassiya Gorodko had won gold at the FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships in Almaty.
