Italy’s ambassador to Kazakhstan Marco Alberti is planning to publish a new book called ‘Kazakhstan in 10 words,’ in which he will describe the country based on his personal experience and working life.

The book aims to present Kazakhstan from a new perspective and will be of interest to all who want to explore the country. According to the author, the book will include 10 key words, that most accurately describe Kazakhstan.

The idea was asking some friends a word, which, according to their opinion, represents their country. Then, I wanted to have an experience, a real experience, connected to that word and then write my experience. That was the scheme of the book. It’s a very small book. I mean 50-60 pages. And, the idea, yes, is not a travelling guide. It’s a way to look at Kazakhstan in a different way from inside... It’s not a book conceived to be a bestseller. It’s a book to leave my friends and the people I met, sort of, a memory of my experience in their country… and something to leave to the people who will come after me, because I think that if you have a great experience you need to tell it. Telling is something that helps humanity to improve. So, if I cannot improve something, I need to be able to describe and to leave something to other ones, for them to take advantage of this experience and improve the things that we have done here, says Marco Alberti.

As the Italian ambassador said, the book will be published at least in two languages either in Italian and Kazakh or Italian and Russian.

Earlier it was reported that Italy’s NEOS air carrier launched flights connecting Milan and Astana.
