Kazakh President attends informal meeting of CIS leaders in St. Petersburg
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan, who arrived in St. Petersburg for a working visit, joined an informal meeting of the CIS leaders, Kazinform News Agency cites Akorda.
Attending the meeting were Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Sadyr Zhaparov of Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
The meeting discussed the priority areas of activity and prospects for further development of cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States.
