Kazakhstan claims three medals at FIS Freestyle Moguls World Junior Championships in Almaty
Moguls event of the 2025 FIS Freestyle Ski World Junior Championships has wrapped up in Almaty on January 9, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Team Kazakhstan claimed three medals at the world championship.
Kazakhstan's Anastassiya Gorodko won gold in the Dual Moguls and silver in singles events.
Kazakhstan's Yuliya Feklistova and Denis Rastruba claimed silver in the Dual Moguls Team event. Advancing to the final, the Kazakhstani freestyle skiers lost to Team USA 2 consisting of Reese Chapdelaine and Jiah Cohen. The USA 3 team secured a bronze medal.
Japan took the 1st place in the medal standings. Kazakhstan occupied the 2nd spot, followed by the Czech Republic with one gold medal.
Today, January 10, Kazakhstan's freestyle aerials team will vie for medals.
As reported earlier, seven Kazakhstani athletes will participate in the Aerials event of the 2025 FIS Freestyle Ski World Junior Championships.
