Kazakhstan settles for bronze in women’s 3,000m relay short track World Tour event in China

Kazakhstan’s Malika Yermek, Alina Azhgaliyev, Yana Khan, Olga Tikhonova snatched the bronze medal in the women's 3,000-metre relay at the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Tour competition held on December 6-8, 2024, in Beijing, China, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee.

Canada claimed gold, while South Korea finished with silver in the race. Chinese and Polish teams got penalties.

Earlier, Kazakhstan's short track team secured three medals at the Alta Valtellina Trophy International Junior Short Track tournament in Bormio, Italy, held from November 21 to 24, 2024.
