Over 6 thsd Hajj 2025 quotas allocated to Kyrgyzstan

Mufti of Kyrgyzstan Abdulaziz Zakirov held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Hajj Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman, where they discussed the organization of Hajj 2025, Kabar reports.

During the meeting the successful preparation of Kyrgyzstan for the Hajj was noted, the Spiritual Boards of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan said.

The discussion was held in a broad format and that work has already begun to provide Kyrgyz pilgrims with housing, food and comfortable conditions for worship in holy places.

Following the meeting, the sides signed agreements on preparations for Hajj 2025, under which Kyrgyzstan has been allocated 6060 quotas for pilgrims.

The meeting was also attended by Director of the State Commission on Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Yusupov, Deputy Mufti and Chairman of the Hajj 2025 Headquarters Zholdoshbek Azhy Abdyldaev and Specialist of the Hajj and Umrah Department Dastan Nukunov.

It is worth reminding a total of 532,958 pilgrims had arrived in Saudi Arabia by 26th May 2024, for the Hajj season
